Stokd on a phone
Stokd has an app for iPhone and Android. It is a full Stokd client rather than a driver-only tool: what somebody can see and do in it is decided by the permissions you grant them, exactly as on the desktop.
This replaces the old browser-based driver page, which needed a VPN on each phone. Nothing needs installing on your network any more.
Setting up a driver
Invite them from the desktop, in Settings, under Users and Access. They will get an invitation code. They install Stokd from the App Store or Google Play, enter the code, and their deliveries are there.
The app cannot create an account. Somebody who installs it without an invitation has nothing to sign in to.
Marking a delivery
Tap a delivery to see the customer and the items. Tap Mark Delivered to capture a signature, a photo, or both.
Working with no signal
This is the normal case rather than the exception. A delivery marked with no coverage is held on the phone and sent as soon as there is a connection, with the signature and photo attached. Nothing is lost if the phone is closed or restarted in between.
On Android the app sends queued deliveries in the background. On iPhone it sends them when the app is next opened, so a driver finishing a round should open Stokd once they are back in coverage.
